EHR-Integrated Clinical Tools

Your clinical toolkit — right next to the chart, not in another tab.

What is the Medgram Chrome extension?

The Medgram Chrome extension is a free browser extension that brings ten clinical tools directly alongside any web-based EHR. Instead of switching between tabs or applications, clinicians access clinical answers, ambient scribing, patient education, ICD-10 lookup, drug interaction checking, and more — all within the same browser window as their chart.

How it works

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. It opens a side panel next to your EHR with access to all ten tools. Generated content — notes, handouts, answers — can be inserted directly into web-based EHR text fields with one click, or copied to clipboard for native applications like Epic Hyperspace or Cerner PowerChart running through Citrix.

Why it matters

Context switching is one of the biggest drains on clinical efficiency and a source of cognitive load that contributes to burnout. By bringing the tools to the chart instead of forcing the clinician to leave the chart, the extension keeps the workflow continuous — from question to answer to documentation, all in one place.
